Every compliance conclusion in Helimux traces back to a versioned rule and the official source behind it. This page explains where rules come from, how they change and where AI fits in.

Rules are built from the most authoritative source available. When a higher source exists, a lower one is never used in its place.

The authority that administers the requirement, such as a company registry or tax office.

Official publication
The statute or regulation as officially published.

Official guidance
Guidance issued by the government body itself.

Recognised professional body
Professional or regulatory bodies with standing in that jurisdiction.

High-quality secondary source
Reputable legal commentary, used when primary sources are silent or unclear.

Anything else
Used only when necessary, and always labelled as such.
Every rule is explicit.
And carries its citation.
Rules are grouped into jurisdiction packs, one for each country or state. Each rule records the same structure, so any conclusion can be checked against its source.

When the law changes, a new version of the rule is added with its own effective dates. Historical versions are kept, and a rule that has already been used in completed work is never silently rewritten. Rules can be marked as under review, and are shown that way until the review is done.
